Choosing the right packaging / pallet wrapping machine before you commit to a purchase is just as important as the installation itself, and it is a stage that is too often rushed or overlooked entirely.

We take the time to understand your operation before making any recommendation, including your throughput requirements, the type of pallet loads you are wrapping or strapping, the layout of your site, your budget, and the number of operators who will be using the machines.

Getting this right at the outset prevents the common and costly mistake of purchasing a machine that is either underpowered for your needs or significantly more complex than your operation actually requires.

For example, a customer drawn to a fully automated wrapping system for speed and efficiency may find, after a proper assessment, that a bank of standard static power pre-stretch machines delivers the same throughput at a fraction of the purchase price and with significantly lower running and maintenance costs over the machine's lifetime.

Single Machines & Multi-Machine Bank Systems

We install single pallet wrapping and strapping machines for businesses running lower volumes or operating from a single despatch point, through to bank systems of up to eight machines for high-volume operations where throughput and resilience are critical.

A multi-machine bank system gives your operation built-in redundancy, meaning that if one machine requires attention or servicing, your wrapping or strapping line does not stop entirely while you wait for it to be repaired.

This is one of the key practical advantages of a bank system over a single automated machine, and it is a consideration that matters enormously for operations that cannot afford extended downtime on their packaging line.

The Installation Process

Once the right machine or system has been agreed, we manage the delivery, positioning and installation on your site with minimal disruption to your operation.

Our engineers carry out a full mechanical and electrical installation, securing the machine correctly, making all necessary connections, and checking every function before commissioning begins.

Commissioning is a distinct stage from installation and involves running the machine through its operating cycle under real working conditions to confirm that it is performing correctly for your specific application, adjusting settings where necessary to achieve the right wrapping tension, film pre-stretch ratio, turntable speed and cycle parameters for your pallet loads.

We do not consider an installation complete until the machine has been tested thoroughly and signed off as operating to the correct specification for your site.

Operator & Team Leader Training

Every installation we carry out includes operator and team leader training as standard, covering the correct operating procedures for the machine, the day-to-day checks your team should be carrying out, and the basic preventative maintenance tasks that any operator can perform to keep the machine in good condition between service visits.

Training your team properly at the point of installation is one of the most effective ways to extend the working life of a new machine and reduce the frequency of callouts caused by incorrect operation or avoidable wear.

We cover everyone from warehouse operatives through to section leaders, ensuring the people responsible for overseeing the machines have the knowledge to spot early signs of wear or incorrect function before they develop into a more significant fault.

Decommissioning & Removal Of Old Machines

If you are replacing existing equipment, we can decommission and remove your old machines as part of the same project.

This covers the safe disconnection and removal of the old machine, clearing the space ready for the new installation, and disposing of the redundant equipment responsibly.

Having the installation and decommissioning managed by the same team simplifies the project significantly and ensures the transition from old equipment to new is handled without unnecessary delay or disruption to your site.

Post-Installation Support & Planned Maintenance

We strongly recommend setting up a planned maintenance programme for any newly installed machine to protect your investment from the outset, establish a baseline service record, and ensure wear parts are identified and replaced proactively rather than waiting for a breakdown to occur.
